Morning Brief: May 24

Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs is celebrating its 100th anniversary.  Nathan Handwerker opened the first Nathan's in Coney Island in the summer of 1916.  At the time, a hot dog at the boardwalk cost ten cents.  In order to capture the market of hungry beachgoers, Nathan lowered his price to five cents, creating the first ever fast food price war.
