New York City's trying to go a little safer and a little greener. De Blasio's set to announce upgrades to the city's fleet of 2800 municipal vehicles to do just that. Efforts include new side guards on city vehicles and ordering nearly 200 new electric cars and buses. It's all a part of the mayor's ongoing Vision Zero and NYC Clean Fleet initiatives.
