Morning Brief: June 30

It's still a few days before the fourth of July, but tonight's still a good time to see some fireworks. Astoria's hosting its annual Independence Day fireworks tonight at 7:30 on the Great Lawn of Astoria Park. The West Point Band will be playing as thousands come to see the display. June may not be quite over, but that doesn't mean we can't start celebrating.
