New Yorkers with cancer, Parkinson's, and other qualifying conditions will now be able to legally obtain medical marijuana. The state's medical marijuana program is slated to begin today, 18 months after Albany lawmakers passed the law. This makes New York the 23rd state to allow medical marijuana use. However, New York's program is one of the strictest in the country and only non-smokable forms of the drug will be legal. Read More.
