Morning Brief: January 22
New Yorkers are bracing for a mountain of snow as Winter Storm Jonas moves through the area this weekend. Mayor Bill de Blasio issued a hazardous travel advisory for the city yesterday, saying “We’ve all been lulled asleep a bit by how warm a winter it’s been.” That looks like it’s about to change though—estimates say Jonas is likely to dump more than a foot of snow on the Big Apple.
