New York City officials are taking steps to crack down on tobacco use—and they’re going beyond cigarettes. The city's Health Department backed legislation Thursday that would ban chewing tobacco from both Yankee Stadium and Citi Field, where is has long been used by players. The department also backed bills that would prevent new hookah bars from opening, though existing bars are safe, for now.
