Morning Brief: December 11 2015

Yesterday President Obama signed into law a sweeping overhaul of the George W. Bush Era education law, No Child Left Behind. The new law, which came to fruition after efforts from both Republican and Democratic, was dubbed a "Christmas Miracle" by President Obama. The new bill returns powers to the states and its new approach on teacher accountability focuses less on standardized testing.
