  • Here We Go Magic Return With "Collector" Video

Last year Here We Go Magic released one of the most underrated and superb debuts of the year; a self-titled album that artfully spun Afro-centric rhythms, electronic ambience and rock that felt more aligned to Tinariwen than Vampire Weekend. Here We Go Magic returns quickly with an even stronger sophomore release, Pigeons which drops on June 8 on Secretly Canadian. The other day the quintet premiered their new video for the single "Collector" on Pitchfork (yes, that overexposed look of the clip is intentional) and are looking ahead to a festival-packed summer with stints at Glastonbury, Bonnaroo, Primavera and the Pitchfork Music Festival. Here We Go Magic, led by singer and songwriter Luke Temple, will celebrate the release of their new album in their own stomping grounds of Brooklyn on June 8 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. The album, recorded last fall in East Branch, NY, was produced by Temple and bandmates Kristina Lieberson, Michael Bloch, Jennifer Turner, and Peter Hale. Pigeons Tracklisting 1. Hibernation 2.
