Jane Ferguson on Frontline Reporting in Conflict Zones

The job of a war correspondent requires integrity, grit, and persistence. Based on her recent memoir, freelancer Jane Ferguson appears to fit that description. She’s spent decades reporting from the frontlines of conflict-filled regions like Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Afghanistan. WFUV's Jay Doherty recently spoke with Ferguson about her book - No Ordinary Assignment. The two discussed how her Irish upbringing prepared her to report from the front lines.
