There’s a painful, chronic disease that affects millions of women in the U.S. But it’s rarely talked about and even doctor’s say it’s often misunderstood. Endometriosis is a condition that occurs when tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus grows on the outside, causing pain and sometimes infertility.
