Community Dialogues: Dr. Sanam Hafeez

The recent killing of George Floyd has shined a spotlight on systemic racism in America. And while thousands of people have been making their voices heard through protests around the nation, it’s an issue that a lot of people find too uncomfortable to talk about.

Doctor Sanam Hafeez is a neuropsychologist in New York City. WFUV's George Bodarky recently talked with her about why it can be so hard for people to have conversations about racism, as well as what steps should be taken to make sure police officers are psychologically sound for duty.
