On the Run
We're running with a running theme on this week's Cityscape.
You see them along the East and Hudson Rivers, and snaking through Central Park. Arms pumping with a determined look on their faces. We’re talking about runners. They’re pretty much everywhere in New York City.
On this week's show we're delving into the world of runners, including efforts to get kids into the sport as a way to inspire them to get fit and stay in school. We'll also talk with the author of a new book called Runners and Lovers. The novel is set in the Riverdale section of the Bronx.
