Cardinal Dolan Condemns Trump Administration Policy

The Catholic Church is stepping up to help immigrant children who have been separated from their families in New York City, but Cardinal Timothy Dolan said Thursday they need more information from the federal government.

Cardinal Dolan expressed his frustration with the lack of information provided on the whereabouts of immigrant parents. The head of Catholic Charities New York, Monsignor Kevin Sullivan, said the Trump administration should reunite children with their parents immediately.

Catholic Charities New York has 60 migrant children in their care and are providing meals, healthcare, counseling and education. Cardinal Dolan said they want to reunite children with their parents, but they need the government to tell them where the parents are.

The Trump administratin has said that it's working to reunite some of the kids.
