Seratones at WFUV

Hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana, Seratones recently released their debut album Get Gone on the widely respected Fat Possum label. The record is a wild ride of punk sensibility and sass with a distinct live feel to it—the band recorded with that vibe in mind.

These guys are incredible musicians and the vocals from frontwoman AJ Haynes absolute shred through each of the songs, melding the sweet with the rock perfectly. After the great session they did for us at SXSW, I couldn’t wait to bring them to Studio A.  We talked about the band's beginnings, the Shreveport influence, their affinity for both punk and jazz, and lots more.

Check out great live versions of “Chandelier” and “Don’t Need It.”
