River Whyless: 2016

Being in a band can be a bit of a balancing act, and even more so when it is filled with talented songwriters. Halli Anderson, Ryan O'Keefe, Daniel Shearin and Alex McWalters of the Asheville, North Carolina band River Whyless have gone through a game-changing evolution, which brought about true collaboration and an exciting new direction in sound.

That sound and the quartet's signature harmonies are showcased on the band's second album, We All The Light, and after we caught their fantastic set at Newport Folk Festival this year, we couldn't wait to welcome River Whyless to Studio A.
