Phosphorescent: 2018

It's been five years since Phosphorescent lit up our studio, but Matthew Houck and his bandmates are back with great new record, called C'est La Vie.

Life has changed a lot for Houck since 2013. He left Brooklyn for Nashville, had another baby, and also had a brush with death. These intense experiences work their way into the songs on C'est La Vie, which is also an FUV New Dig.

In this FUV Live session, Phosphorescent plays a few of the new tunes and I talk with Houck about the road that led him to this album.
