Mac DeMarco: 2015

Canadian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mac DeMarco, who now lives in Far Rockaway, Queens, is known for his jangly, lo-fi pop sound and quirky sense of humor.

Last year, DeMarco released his critically acclaimed album Salad Days. Since he now has a home studio, he decided to immediately follow that release with a series of what he calls "mini-LPs."  Earlier this summer he released the all-instrumental Some Other Ones, ahead of his most current release, appropriately titled Another One, which features guitar and synth based love songs.  You can read more about the record here as we've made it our New Dig this week. 

Mac DeMarco and his band recently stopped by Studio A to talk with me about his new record and perform songs from Another One.
