Efrat (nee Shapira) and Mara Levine have a couple of things in common—they're both New Jersey-based singers, and they're both part of "On Your Radar" on January 12 at Rockwood Music Hall.

Beyond that, Efrat is the consummate musician. A classically-trained violinist, she's comfortable in multiple genres, from jazz to Americana. At one time a member of Spuyten Duyvil, she now fronts her own group, showcasing her talents as a singer, songwriter, and performer.

Mara Levine, on the other hand, doesn't write songs or play an instrument. She does have exquisite taste in choosing songs and uses her voice as a beautiful instrument to do justice to them.

Efrat's band accompanied Mara in this "Sunday Supper" studio session, and Mara sang harmony with Efrat on "Freight Train," proving that they have another thing in common—they play well with others.
