Dave Rawlings Machine: 2015

There is a place where Delta blues, jazz and Jerry Garcia collide and I think that place is Nashville Obsolete, the new album from Dave Rawlings Machine.

This band is the "other" project for longtime collaborators and partners Dave Rawlings and Gilllian Welch, along with Willie Watson, Paul Kowert and Brittany Haas: all master players. The songs, co-written by Rawlings and Welch, have a cosmic feel and a sense of wandering.

Our live session, performed around one mic, brings these songs to life with epic builds and masterful, near flawless delivery.
