The Lone Bellow continues a long line of great Studio A debuts. After taping their first-ever radio interview at FUV, it was pretty clear to me that more people needed to hear this Brooklyn trio—and that Holiday Cheer for FUV was the perfect place to make that happen. So tomorrow night, get to the Beacon Theatre early because The Lone Bellow will be our pre-show buskers for the evening. It’ll be a great way to start off the show, and it’ll also be a chance to get a taste of their self-titled debut album, set for release in January.
Zach, Kanene and Brian create a gospel-rich sound, with a hint of Laurel Canyon and some soulful, layered harmonies too. You might have seen them opening for The Civil Wars this year, or maybe you were in the audience at one of their Rockwood Music Hall shows. Well, welcome into Studio A for this session, as we introduce you to The Lone Bellow—and if you don't have them yet, grab your tickets to see the band, tomorrow night, at Holiday Cheer.
