Broken Bells: 2010
We revisit our 2010 session with Broken Bells tonight on WFUV
The band Broken Bells only has two people — The Shins' James Mercer and Brian Burton (a.k.a. producer/DJ Danger Mouse) — so it might be a stretch to call them an indie-rock super group. However, in my conversation with the duo, they said that even with all of their other projects like Gnarls Barkley and The Shins, putting together their self-titled debut has been among their favorite musical projects.
