Stars - FUV Live at Rockwood Music Hall - 2014

One thing I've always appreciated about Stars is that there is more than meets the ear. Their songs can be catchy and bouncy, but if you listen a little closer, the lyrics may be telling a different story. Their new album No One is Lost is our New Dig this week and the band recently performed and exclusive live set for and audience of WFUV Marquee members at Rockwood Music Hall.  The band was in solid form premiering a bunch of the new songs including the title track which boasts the line "put your hands up cuz everybody dies" over a super fun beat. Only Stars can pull that off. Co-singers Torq and Amy told great stories and even worked in a great version of FUV favorite "Hold on When You Get Love and Let Go When You Give It."
