Robert Randolph and The Family Band - Live Concert - 2013

Here is an amazing FUV Live show with Robert Randolph and The Family Band. It was recorded at Rockwood Music Hall on the Lower East Side here in NYC. We were treated to a preview of some of the songs from the new album, Lickety Split, and the band also performed some classic songs from their catalog — including a very lively version of "I Need More Love."

This show demonstrates the awesome control and skill that Robert Randolph has over the pedal steel guitar, and what enthralling performers he and his band are. Almost everyone (including me) danced themselves into a sweat that night and we all left happy as clams. It was an absolute pleasure to host such a great night of live music.
