The Silver Gymnasium is the seventh full-length album from Okkervil River, and it sees frontman Will Sheff taking a stroll down memory lane. The songs make reference to his experience growing up in New Hampshire in the '80s, with details about bad TV, cassette tapes and playing Atari. In promoting the album, Sheff actually developed an 8-bit video game and even released the new songs on cassette. No word yet on whether there will be a TV show, but the band does have a gig coming up and of course, we’ve got them on this episode of FUV Live.
