NO - FUV Live - 2014

Hear an Alternate Side in Session with NO.
Yes, there are two Los Angeles bands that carry the Google-proof moniker of NO, but we're smitten with the resilient Echo Park sextet that released its debut, El Prado, earlier this year on Arts & Crafts. NO's soaring single, “Leave The Door Wide Open," has become a staple on The Alternate Side, but it's the band's emotional backstory—beginning with a chance meeting in a diner between New Zealand frontman Bradley Hanan Carter and bassist Sean Daniel Stentz—that gives the song a deeper resonance. The group is in New York this week supporting Yann Tiersen at Highline Ballroom, but earlier this spring, NO said yes to a Studio A pilgramage for a session and conversation.
