Jenny Lewis: 2014

We first became familiar with this sun-drenched songstress through her work with the band Rilo Kiley, and Jenny Lewis continued to impress us with her sultry and insightful wit on her two solo records and her collaborations with The Postal Service and singer-songwriter (and her boyfriend) Johnathan Rice. Lewis’s recent contribution to the music-loving community is a new album called The Voyager (which was also our New Dig), and it examines heavy topics of regret and malaise through beguilingly smooth and honey-dripped songs.

We were recently treated to a visit from Jenny and she performed some of her new material for us, and an old favorite. I also got a chance to sit down with Jenny and talk about the new record, and we’ll hear that performance and conversation during this episode of FUV Live.
