Benjamin Booker - FUV Live - 2014

This New Orleans-based musician is a classic case of an old soul in a young body. Though he is only 25, Benjamin Booker's music conjures the gospel and blues of the South. Blind Willie Johnson is a major influence on Booker, but you can also hear a modern punk influence in his music as well. His self-titled debut album is out today and we've made it our New Dig this week. We also invited Booker to come in to Studio A to play us some of his songs and talk about his musical journey.  We’ll hear that performance and conversation on this episode of FUV Live.
