How New York's longest Running Sports Call-in Show Came To Be

One on One began its fortieth anniversary by speaking to its roots, the founding father of New York’s longest running sports call-in show, Malcolm Moran, now the Director of the National Sports Journalism Center at Indiana University.

DJ Sixsmith and Jake Kring-Schreifels discussed the formation of the show with him when it was in its Sunday night, airtime infancy and about its being a media platform for many Fordham students, now leading broadcasters today. The discussion shifted halfway into the state and future of sports journalism and its rapidly changing form, through tools like Twitter and practices like content aggregation.
