TAS on FUV for Tuesday April 16th

by Russ Borris
The Flaming Lips

Weeknights at 10, it's The Alternate Side!

I've got new music from Yeah Yeah Yeahs, James Blake, Thee Oh Sees, Kurt Vile, Caveman and more for you tonight.  We'll get to some Death Cab, Bjork, Silversun Pickups, eels and The Cure, too.

Plus, there's The Shuffle.  Three in a row from one artist, chosen by you!  Tonight, we'll Shuffle up The Flaming Lips including one from the brand new album The Terror.  I could give you a sense of what this record is about, but frontman Wayne Coyne puts it more eloquently than I ever could.

"We want, or wanted, to believe that without love we would disappear, that love, somehow, would save us that, yeah, if we have love, give love and know love, we are truly alive and if there is no love, there would be no life. The Terror is, we know now, that even without love, life goes on... we just go on… there is no mercy killing."

See you at 10!
