Helena Rampersaud is an Indo-Caribbean journalist born and raised in the Bronx. She is passionate sharing stories that raise awareness on taboo issues, especially mental health and cultural prejudice. Helena is also a spoken word poet, and has been performing her work across New York City since she was thirteen. She will be receiving her Masters in Public Media from Fordham University in the summer of 2021.
