The Pulaski Skyway will be closed in both directions this weekend and next so workers can install deck panels as part of rehabilitation work on the 83-year-old span.
The shutdown will begin Saturday at 2 p.m. and last until 10 a.m. Sunday.
The Transportation Department says the full closure includes most ramps, including the southbound ramp from Tonnele Circle. The ramp from Route 139 west to I-280/Route 7 and Routes 1&9 truck southbound will remain open.
The DOT says the $1 billion project will extend the life of the bridge by 75 years.
