The presidential candidates are stepping up visits to Connecticut ahead of Tuesday's primary.

Republican Donald Trump is scheduled to return to the state Saturday, appearing at two rallies. The first will be held at Crosby High School in Waterbury at 10 a.m. The second will be held at The Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport at 12:30 p.m.

Democrat Hillary Clinton's campaign said the former Secretary of State will campaign Saturday in New Haven and hold a public event on Sunday in Bridgeport. No further details were provided.

Clinton's primary rival, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has yet to officially announce a Connecticut appearance.

Meanwhile, Republican John Kasich was scheduled appear Friday for a town hall event in Glastonbury. GOP Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has not announced any visits to the state.
