One on One's 40th Anniversary Celebration

One on One's 40th Anniversary Celebration
Malcolm Moran, Bob Ahrens, and WFUV Alumni honored

On September 29, 2014 over one hundred WFUV alumni met to honor the history and enduring legacy of One on One, New York's Longest Running Sports Call In Show. Honorees included founding father Malcolm Moran and Executive Sports Producer Bob Ahrens.

Speakers ranged the forty years of One on One's rich history - WFUV Sports legends like Malcolm Moran, Mike Breen, Michael Kay, Chris Carrino, Spero Dedes, Tony Reali, Ryan Ruocco, and Andrew Bogusch. Videos featuring various alumni, which were produced by the student staff, provided more memories about the New York sports radio institution. Even the first great voice from WFUV, Dodgers announcer Vin Scully, sent his greetings from Los Angeles. Bob Costas and veteran Mariners announcer Dave Sims chimed in with their congratulations as well.

Dozens of tweets were sent before, during, and after the event. Take a look at the tweets sent from the celebration on Storify here!
