This Sunday marks one year since Temples released its third album, Hot Motion, with an intoxicating brew of mutable moods and euphoric, fuzzed-out guitar. Unlike 2017’s Volcano, which dipped heavily into keyboards and synths, with Hot Motion, Temples re-established its identity as a dedicated guitar band.

Adding drummer Rens Ottink as a permanent member also energized the British quartet, and it was evident at Rockwood Music Hall earlier this year when Temples took the stage for an FUV Live show for our Marquee Members. Hearing the band's recently released single "Paraphernalia," produced by Sean Lennon, got us thinking about that show, so we're sharing it again as this week's "Marquee Noon."

Listen today at noon EDT on WFUV, or anytime in the FUV Live Vault.
