As we roll through December, FUV has special holiday plans. Here's the lineup so you can join in too (all times EST):

Sunday, December 19 

Listen back to weekend shows via the Weekend Archives for up to two weeks.

  • 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. "Ceol na nGael" - Christmas and holiday favorites including The Chieftains, Cherish the Ladies, Eileen Ivers and more.
  • 4 p.m.-5 p.m. "Woody's Children" with Bob Sherman. Bob features Judy Collins' Christmas memories. Childhood memories fused into a Christmas cantata, with the addition of various songs and singers.
  • 5 p.m.-6 p.m. "Sunday Supper" with John Platt. The annual "Festival of Holiday Songs" with selections from Norah Jones, John Legend with Nat "King" Cole, and live Brandi Carlile.
  • 6 p.m.-9 p.m.. - "Cavalcade" with Paul Cavalconte features an interview with Rickie Lee Jones and a rebroadcast of "Remembering Rita."
  • 11 p.m. - 12 a.m. - "UKNY" with Kara Manning is a winter solstice, year-end and Christmas mix,  featuring music from The Divine Comedy, Tracey Thorn, beabadoobee and more.

Friday, December 24

  • 6 p.m. to midnight - FUV "Home for the Holidays" Christmas Mix

Saturday, December 25

  • Midnight - 1:30am  Mass from Fordham University Church (pre-recorded)
  • 1:30 a.m. - 2 a.m. - "Home for the Holidays" Christmas Mix
  • 2 a.m. - 4 a.m. - "World Cafe"
  • 4 a.m. - 4 p.m. - FUV's "Home for the Holidays" Christmas Mix
  • 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.  Mixed Bag Christmas with Don McGee: Featuring music by The Roches, Phil Spector, and Nat King Cole, among others.
  • 8 p.m. - 11 p.m. - FUV's "Home for the Holidays" Christmas Mix
  • 11 p.m. - 2 a.m. -  FUV's  One on One 

Sunday, December 26 

  • 6 a.m. - Fordham Conversations
  • 6:30 a.m. - Cityscape 
  • 7 a.m. - The Thistle and Shamrock with Fiona Ritchie:
  • 8 a.m. - A Thousand Welcomes with Kathleen Biggins:
  • 11 a.m. - Mass from Fordham University Church
  • Noon - Ceol na nGael
  • 4 p.m. - Woody’s Children with Bob Sherman
  • 5 p.m. - Sunday Supper with John Platt
  • 6 p.m. - Cavalcade with Paul Cavalconte
  • 9 p.m. - FUV Music with Benham Jones
  • 11 p.m. - UKNY with Kara Manning, a Boxing Day look back at some of the best songs and albums of 2021

Friday, December 31

  • 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (approx.) - The Best Songs of 2021: Listener Poll Countdown
  • 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. - The Whole Wide World with Delphine Blue
  • 9 p.m. - 2 a.m. - WFUV's New Year's Eve Party Mix
