Today's "Throwback Thursday" look into FUV Live history rewinds to 2015, when Rhiannon Giddens made her Studio A debut the day after releasing her first solo album, Tomorrow Is My Turn.
Produced by T Bone Burnett, the album offered a feminist perspective of the American roots canon with lyrical and sonic influences spanning from Nina Simone to Patsy Cline, and the songs shine live too.
We'll feature Studio A performances by Rhiannon and her band today on FUV, and you can listen to the full session anytime in the FUV Live Vault.
