Rams lose to Richmond for second time this season

Fordham lost a tough one on Saturday night by a final score of 82-70 against the Richmond Spiders. After falling behind 6-0 at the beginning of the game, the Rams surged back with the stellar play of Freshman Jon Severe and Senior Brandon Frazier.

The Rams were down by just 7 points at half time after Frazier went one for two from the foul line with 3 seconds on the clock. It was a back and forth game throughout the second half with Fordham getting to within single digits a couple times but never taking the lead.

Richmond was led by the 5'8 junior Kendall Anthony who went off for a team high 24 points, with 17 of those coming in half number two.

On the Fordham side Severe had 28 points while Frazier chipped in with 24. It was the 14 turnovers that Fordham committed as a team which eventually led to them picking up the loss.

With the win Richmond improves to 17-8 overall while Fordham drops to 9-15, 2-9 in A10 play.
