My voice is still hoarse. My eyes are still groggy. I am still reeling with a weekend hangover that’s filled with nostalgia and some withdrawal. Fordham lost a tough one on Saturday night by a final score of 82-70 against the Richmond Spiders. After falling behind 6-0 at the beginning of the game, the Rams surged back with the stellar play of Freshman Jon Severe and Senior Brandon Frazier.

The Rams were down by just 7 points at half time after Frazier went one for two from the foul line with 3 seconds on the clock. It was a back and forth game throughout the second half with Fordham getting to within single digits a couple times but never taking the lead.

Coming off a 44-point loss to St. Bonaventure on Saturday, one could have easily predicted that Wednesday night’s game against Richmond could not possibly go any worse.  That hypothetical prognosticator would prove at least partially correct, as the Rams fell by 44 once again, dropping a 102-58 decision to the Spiders in the Robins Center.
