It began calmly. Sheraton hotel assistants handed out thermoses of coffee to media members. Every coach bus seat held a delicious pastry boxed up neatly. At 7:30am, with the sun beginning to bathe Manhattan, police escorted these buses into Newark, NJ. No traffic. No noise. That quickly changed.

In light of Atlanta dropping to 2-9, why have they struggled so much this season after coming within a quarter of reaching the Super Bowl in 2012?  On New Orleans' side, do the Saints play well enough on the road to be able to win in the playoffs?

USA Today's Jim Corbett joins the guys to disscuss the landscape of the league and hand out some midseason awards. Jim also talks about the injury to Cincinnati's Geno Atkins, the return of 49ers' Aldon Smith, and Dez Bryant's sideline pump-up speech/tantrum. They also put the Kansas City's 8-0 start under the microscope.
