It almost seems like yesterday that the Los Angeles Kings defeated the New York Rangers to win the 2014 Stanley Cup. However, it’s been more than four months since Jonathan Quick and company hoisted the Cup, and a new season is upon us. Some teams began their 2014-2015 campaigns last night, but the New Jersey Devils are set to begin their season tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers. Now, it’s too early to say whether or not London Knights’ Bo Horvat, the player the Canucks drafted with that ninth-overall pick, will end up being the player Vancouver expects them to be, but it seemed like the Devils got the better end of this deal early on.

Devils' Roller Coaster Ride Ends

by Nick Logerfo

New Jersey is home to some of the biggest and fastest roller coasters in the world. Jersey’s hockey team, the Devils, must have taken some inspiration from this and had a season that was nothing short of a roller coaster ride. On the day after the New York Rangers eliminated the Devils from the playoffs it’s now time to reflect on the season that could have been, but never was.

Brodeur Not Done Yet

by Steve Simineri

Roughly 3 months shy of his 40th birthday Martin Brodeur is still the man in between the pipes for the New Jersey Devils. Even though he doesn’t play 70 games anymore and shares some of the load with backup Johan Hedberg, he is still the man in New Jersey, almost 20 years later.
