Former WFUV sports manager Brian Clark (currently of CineSport and USOpen.org/radio) joined Alex Smith and Eric Mollo on One on One to talk Wimbledon. They discussed Lukas Rosol's upset of Rafael Nadal, what to look for going into the 2nd week of the men's draw, and how the high seeds like Maria Sharpova and Victoria Azarenka will fare on the women's side.

Meet the Coaching Staff

As we mentioned on Monday, Tom Pecora met with fans and alumni at the ESPNZone on Monday night.  His coaching staff was on hand as well, and Tom Felice and I interviewed Van Macon, David Duke, and Mike Kelly, the three new assistants at Fordham.

New Fordham basketball coach Tom Pecora met with fans at the ESPNZone in Times Square on Monday night.  He fielded questions from fans, introduced his coaching staff, and announced some highlights of next year’s schedule (a game at Georgia Tech, a trip to the Bay Area for the Cable Car Classic).

What a Weekend

As predicted, John Skelton was selected in this past weekend’s NFL Draft.  He had to wait until Saturday afternoon, but just before one o’clock, the Arizona Cardinals made him the 155th overall pick, as they used a fifth round selection to grab the Fordham quarterback.

The first round of the 2010 NFL Draft begins in just a few moments.  While Fordham’s John Skelton is not expected to be taken tonight, his anticipation is high as he gets ready for the weekend.

Fordham’s search for a basketball coach concluded today as Tom Pecora was introduced as the new head Ram.  The Queens native comes to the Bronx from Hofstra.  Ben Allen, Tom Felice, and I anchored the WFUV coverage from the Duane Library.
