Fordham Cruises to a 63-48 Win Over LaSalle

The Fordham Rams continue to play well at home, winning their 3rd consecutive home game tonight against the LaSalle Explorers.  This marked their 8th win at home this season, and they are now 8-7 when playing in the friendly confines of the Rose Hill Gym.  

Fordham was lead offensively by Christian Sengfelder who lead the team with 14 rebounds, and contributed 14 points, going 7-10 from the field.  Bryan Smith and Jon Severe led the Rams in scoring and contributed 15 points on the day.

Westchester Knicks fall to Maine 99-81

The Westchester Knicks faced off against the Maine Red Claws Saturday night, losing the battle 99-81. The Knicks were without their top scorers in F Thanasis Antetokounmpo (Quad) and C Darnell Jackson (Achilles) along with court general G Andre Barett (tooth). Newly acquired G Doron Lamb who won a National Championship with the Kentucky Wildcats in 2012, put on a show scoring 27 pts on 9-17, with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. F/C Ben Strong added 17 rebounds along with 10 points in the loss as well for the Knicks. Red Claw Omari Johnson put up 30 points and 14 rebounds for Maine.
