Nerlens Noel Addresses His Fall

New Sixers Bigman is Motivated

It was no secret coming into the NBA Draft, Nerlens Noel's knee was a turn-off to a lot of teams. It was so big, in fact, that he fell out of the Top 5.

When it was all said and done on Wednesday night, though, Noel was a member of the Philadelphia 76ers; this after being traded from New Orleans. In return, the Pelicans got back a 2014 First Round pick, and All-Star PG Jrue Holiday. If there was ever a way to make a statement about how much confidence you have in a player's potential, this was surely it.

Yet Nerlens Noel isn't satisfied after this.

Speaking to the media at 1AM Friday morning, Noel had a giant chip on his shoulder, motivated to return from the ACL injury that ended his Freshman season at Kentucky prematurely and prove the teams that passed on him wrong.

Hear what Noel had to say about his new team, and how he'll remember this night where he fell out of the top spot that, once upon a time, was all his.
