ESPN's Baseball Insides Talks New York Baseball, DH, and More

ESPN baseball insider Tim Kurkjian stopped by One on One and talked baseball with DJ and I Saturday afternoon, giving us his take on the Yankees’ rough start to the season, the Mets’ outlook going forward, and the 40th anniversary of the Designated Hitter being added to the American League.

Discussing the injuries that continue to pile up in the Bronx, he says the Yankees are not going to be successful with their current lineup. For the Mets, will Johan Santana return? Are Roy Halladay and Tim Lincecum’s best days behind them? Listen to what Tim Kurkjian had to say on these issues, and also his take on Jeff Van Gundy’s comments towards the DH.
