Bolts Stay Perfect in Brooklyn

Brooklyn’s professional football team is bringing the thunder so far this season. The Brooklyn Bolts improved to 2-0 in the FXFL (Fall Experimental Football League) as they defeated the Omaha Mammoths, 15-13, on Friday night in dramatic style. 

Fordham Wins First Game at Goodman Stadium

The Fordham Rams defeated Lehigh 48-27 to give them a 7-1 record on the year, 3-o in the Patriot League.  QB Michael Nebrich threw for 292 yards and a touchdown, but the story of the day was freshman running back Chase Edmonds.  Edmonds rushed for almost 200 yards and 5 touchdowns, tying a Fordham and Patriot League record.  He almost added a 95-yard kick return to his day, but that was called back by a penalty.  Still, the Fordham offense put up over 580 yards and the defense limited Lehigh to just 127 yards through the air.  Fordham's next matchup comes agains

One on One's NFL Friday: Week 8 2014

This week on NFL Friday we kick things off by going over the Denver Broncos' Thursday night victory over division rival San Diego.

To discuss what is happening all around the NFL we welcomed in Spero Dedes, WFUV alum and current TV announcer for the NFL on CBS. We previewed some of the action that is to come in week 8 and looked at some of the more intriguing division races.

World Series Game 3 Preview

The 2014 World Series will head to San Francisco tonight with things all knotted up after the Kansas City Royals defeated the San Francisco Giants 7-2 in Game Two Wednesday night in KC. The Game One score was just as lopsided with the Giants winning 7-1 behind another stellar performance from lefty Madison Bumgarner.
