Manic Media Day

It began calmly. Sheraton hotel assistants handed out thermoses of coffee to media members. Every coach bus seat held a delicious pastry boxed up neatly. At 7:30am, with the sun beginning to bathe Manhattan, police escorted these buses into Newark, NJ. No traffic. No noise. That quickly changed.

Seahawks Gearing up for a Super Showdown

The Seattle Seahawks were fresh off Media Day as they spoke this morning, sounding confident and even a bit anxious to get the Super Bowl underway.  Wearing their road white Super Bowl jerseys, the Seahawks say they are remaining focused on the task at hand.  Cornerback Richard Sherman discussed how the defense needs to do their job in order to stop Peyton Manning: “Executing our defense is always our number one priority.  Being effective, disciplined, sound football players is also a priority.”  The Seattle defense will certainly have to be disciplined and read their keys in order to stop the Denver offense.

Seahawks settle into New Jersey

The Seattle Seahawks are settled at their hotel in Jersey City and begin preparation for the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII. Many players were excited to talk about the game and how they were preparing for it.
