This week's Sunday Breakfast will have a Southern accent. We'll salute the late, great Jesse Winchester, who would've turned 70 today, with nearly a dozen of his songs, including the world premiere of one from his forthcoming, posthumous album. Jesse was born in Louisiana and grew up in Memphis before moving to Canada to resist the draft.
Today would've been Pete Seeger's 95th birthday. Tomorrow on the Sunday Breakfast I'll have "A Seeger Celebration" - a 90 minute special with music and commentary from folks like Joan Baez, Roger McGuinn, Judy Collins, Tom Paxton, Nanci Griffith, Peter Yarrow, Noel Stookey, and Pete himself (drawn from several interviews we did over the years).
