Exhibit launches on Yankees' Opening Day.

Baseball fans have more to cheer about on the Yankees home opener against the Anaheim Angels.

The Bronx Museum of the Arts is kicking off a free month-long exhibition celebrating Baseball in the Bronx on April 13th. The exhibition highlights the borough's unique baseball tradition with photos, memorabilia and a full rotation of speakers.

Executive Director Cary Goodman of the 161st Street Business Improvement District says the exhibit gives baseball fans a wide look at the game, "This exhibit goes beyond even the Yankees though, into baseball as it has been played in little leagues, in high schools and colleges, in the Negro Leagues, but I think the Bronx is sort of like the capital of baseball really."

Visitors to the exhibition can take a free trolley between Yankee Stadium and the Bronx Museum during the opening week.
