You might not think "camping" when you think "Brooklyn", but the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation wants you to rethink that.

NYC's been called a concrete jungle, but the New York City Department of Parks and Recration is trying to show a greener side to the city through its family camping program.

Registration for this year's program starts soon, and WFUV's Kate McGee checked it out last summer, when she spent the night making smores and swatting mosquitoes in Brooklyn
