Morning Brief: October 14

TEDx wants you.

Do you have inspiring story about Bushwick's transformation you'd want to share? It's not too late to sign up to be part of TEDxBushwick, a local version of the TEDx conferences. Five people will be chosen to speak for eight minutes each about their personal experience. The March 21 event will be focused on the theme "Translating Transformation" because of how much the Brooklyn neighborhood has culturally changed in the past several years. The deadline to apply is tomorrow.
